More About Me

I am a Franchisee with the Arthur Murray International.  I have a deep desire to make a difference with my life and found the perfect outlet with dancing. It is the unique mix of artistry, athleticism and soul that attracted me. Wanting to make an impact bigger than myself, I started to focus on the development of teachers and leaders in my industry.

I was exposed to John Maxwell's philosphy in the early 2000's and immediately began to apply it to my industry.  It has made all the difference.

In 2006, I opened Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Fort Worth. It is currently one of the largest Arthur Murray studios in the world.  I joined the International AMI Training team in 2008 and have been traveling through Europe, the Middle East and all over the continental US for the past 12 years training people in customer service and leadership.

I keep close to value-driven ethics and the basic principle that why you do something is as important as what you do. The ideals we strive for are transferable to many industries. In Ballroom Dancing, we get to watch and witness the extraordinary changes and growth of people. We see marriages mended and divorcees learn to trust again. We watch as people gain confidence, lose weight and cherish life. We focus on the physical and emotional development of our students, and we encourage the creativity and spark of our staff in a safe environment.  None of this is specific to the dance world, but open to anyone who dares to try and make an impact in their industry.
